Overview

Kynetec is looking for qualified candidates to participate in a pilot program to help develop and launch our newly created position, Virtual Telephone Interviewer. Kynetec is the world’s largest market research company dedicated to agricultural and animal health. A Virtual Telephone Interviewer is the vital point of contact between Kynetec and our valuable research participants across North America. We give farmers and crop consultants a voice through telephone surveys to ensure that the products, services, or ideas/concepts are readily available for them in their market to better serve them and make their lives easier. As a Virtual Telephone Interviewer you will be trained to take part in this exciting and important data collection role while helping to mould this new virtual position over the next couple of months.

Key Activities

  • Calling an allocated sample of farmers and other agricultural professionals to secure survey participation
  • Completing telephone surveys using our internet hosted questionnaires and online phone systems
  • Providing accurate and quality data in a timely manner
  • Building long-term, professional and positive relationships with our participants
  • Able to work independently and follow instructions

Skills Required / Expectations

  • A passion for and knowledge of agriculture
  • Enjoy talking about agriculture and talking to agricultural professionals
  • Must have competent computer skills
  • Demonstrate a pleasant, professional manner and the ability to persuade agricultural professional to participate in surveys
  • Customer service, telephone experience an advantage
  • Manage time effectively to successfully complete assignments on schedule and on quota
  • Must possess clear, articulate voice and proper use of grammar
  • Attentive to details; recognize problems
  • Able to problem solve and / or escalate issues to supervisor and log daily feedback on studies dialed
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Perform all tasks with honesty and integrity
  • Reliable independent judgment with minimal supervision
  • Adhere to scheduled shifts and all team meetings
  • Maintain confidentially of all client and survey information
  • Market research experience an advantage
  • High school diploma or GED required

Equipment Requirements

  • Provide a PC with Google Chrome or Firefox browser
  • Have access to a reliable and secure internet connection (0.5 Mbps as a minimum speed)
