Kynetec is looking for a full time Specialist RFQ Management, based in LYON.
You will be part of a 4 person team within our Global Operations Team, and you will report to the Global Supplier Relationship director based in France. The core tasks will be:
RFQs management: (75% of the working time)
Handle request for quotation for projects, up to commissioning agencies
Design Master cost based on project manager’s specifications
Send the RFQ to the identified best fieldwork suppliers, answer partners’ questions (worldwide)
Prepare for the project manager an overview of bids to be inserted in the final proposal.
Negotiate cost with agencies when required.
Commission the agencies based on project manager requirements.
Responsible for assisting the company to work cost-efficiently and harmoniously with suppliers, whilst delivering the best quality for our clients
Supplier database maintenance and management: (5% of the working time)
- Keep up to date our online fieldwork supplier database
Assisting the Online panel team in managing the setup of Online projects in France (20% of the working time)
Support the teams to ease the process, communicate with the different members to insure the project is conducted as it should
Help with translations when required
Skills and abilities
- Native language French
- Good oral and written communication skills in English.
- Basic market research knowledge (comfortable with the notion of qualitative, quantitative, CATI, CAWI…).
- Agricultural knowledge is certainly a plus.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Excel (good working knowledge), Word, PowerPoint, Outlook (intermediate level)
