Purpose of the Role

Working closely with the Treasury Accountant, the Treasury Assistant will be responsible for assisting in producing timely and accurate bank reconciliations at Kynetec's global headquarters in the UK


Key Activities

  • Export bank statements from various banking platforms by Kynetec trading entities
  • Investigate returned payments and liaise with Accounts Payable to resolve
  • Complete bank reconciliations for 20 bank accounts and 1 petty cash account
  • Reconcile the Canadian cheque incentives
  • Ensure cover is provided for updating the weekly cashflow
  • Produce a list of items that need to be posted to the general ledger from the bank statements
  • Ensure the VAT and TAX payments are made on time for each entity as required
  • Assist in the year end audit co-ordinating with the on-site team to provide some of the basic fieldwork details
  • Assist in implementing process improvements


Technical skills required

  • Experience of working in a multi-currency environment
  • Experience of using banking platforms
  • Experience of multi company/country organisations
  • Good Excel Skills
  • Experience of NetSuite would be an advantage but not essential

Typical Education and Work Experience required

  • 2+ years of Finance experience
