Richard leads the global customer insights team, and has over 25 years’ experience in the market research sector. He has an in-depth understanding of research agency management, having previously led the UK and North European businesses of a top 5 global research agency.
Richard has managed major client relationships and research teams across Europe, the Americas and Asia, and has experience across a range of sectors, including healthcare, technology, consumer packaged goods and financial services. He is especially focused on creating a customer-focused culture, harnessing client-led innovation, and providing solutions for the complex information needs of specialist markets.
Richard is also particularly experienced in the development of digital research techniques and the integration of survey research with other behavioural data streams. He believes that the best commercial research must both resonate with stakeholders via a clear connection to business strategy, and inspire stakeholders by using the latest visualisation techniques.
