Paul Walker joins Kynetec as Chief Operating Officer for Crop Market and Customer Insights.

Kynetec, the global leader in market and customer insights in Agriculture and Animal Health, is delighted to announce that Paul Walker has joined the company’s Executive Committee as Chief Operating Officer for Crop Market and Customer Insights.

Paul joins Kynetec from a financial insights organisation “Consumer Intelligence”, where he was the Chief Commercial Officer, leading the client-facing arm of the business. He has more than 25 years’ experience within the field of data, insight and research, having spent the majority of his career at Nielsen. He is an international leader, having been responsible for managing market insights businesses across multiple countries in Western and Eastern Europe.

At Kynetec Paul will be responsible for managing the Crop Market and Customer Insights team of more than 400 research professionals, across 23 countries globally. At its core, the crop portfolio includes the farmer panel “FarmTrak” in around 50 countries, and sigma which provides market insights for global strategic decisions in crop protection and seed. Kynetec also provide bespoke client-driven customer insights and analytics on business topics related to opportunity assessment, pricing, user experience, communication, concept testing, segmentation, branding, customer experience and channel & sales force.

Paul’s appointment replaces the current COO Richard Jameson, who is taking a step back from the business and will continue to support Kynetec on specific projects on a part-time consultancy basis.
